From Trash to Mailing Bag
1. Recover
Local collectors in countries with inadequate waste management, like India and Indonesia, gather and sort wild plastic. Post-cleaning, shredding, and baling, it's ready for the next step.
2. Refurbish
The plastic then undergoes recycling into WILDPLASTIC® granules, preferably locally or alternatively at our Portuguese recycling partner. This transforms wild waste into a valuable asset.
3. Recycle
European production partner sites then turn WILDPLASTIC® granules into circular products like our mailing bags.
4. Die Versandtasche
Finally, these mailing bags and other products reach the logistics centers, ready for delivery to your customers with in their next order.
OTTO X WILDPLASTIC®
OTTOBAG, a mailing bag made from WILDPLASTIC® impact material, has been available since 2021.
HERMES x WILDPLASTIC®
In summer of 2023, Hermes launched a test case together with us: The first returns bag made of WILDPLASTIC®. The returns bags are available in over 17.000 Hermes pick-up stores.
